Traditionally a Gaelic social gathering, a ceilidh is an evening to be enjoyed by all which usually involves playing Gaelic folk music and dancing. The evening will feature popular local group, the Legplaiters, who are sure to provide a lively evening and guide you through the dances. The Legplaiters were formed many years ago deep in the mists of time and have undergone many changes. The line-up now consists of Martin Lynott on fiddle, Martin Hall on banjo, Ian Sidebotham on guitar, Steve Keene on fiddle, Donal Maguire on fiddle and Terry Walsh, the caller. They are the Northwest's own geriatric Boy Band! They guarantee a good time will be had by all.
